Call to Order at 9:05 AM
Attendance: Ruth Buchanan, Jennifer Clark, Mira Munson, Ann Skibski, David Spidal, Pat Storey; Regrets Jean Armitage
Review of Minutes –The minutes of Dec. 19, 2018 were reviewed and unanimously approved with Pat Storey abstaining
Outreach Worker report - Attached
Consortium Report – The letter was sent notifying the Consortium that Tolland is withdrawing effective July 1,

Transportation – Review Program – no rides this month

New Business
Valentine’s Day Program – It was agreed we will not pursue this program this year
Next Mailing – The envelopes will be stuffed at our Feb meeting. Dave will do mailing lables; Pat will get the letter and attachments together.
Our Community Food Pantry – Sally Munson explained that Our Community Food Pantry, which serves Tolland, Granville and Southwick, is starting food weekly deliveries to Tolland on Jan. 10, 2018.Every Wednesday the van will come to the Public Safety Complex, 206 West Granville Rd, from 1 to 1:30 PM. If school is canceled due to weather the van will not operate. Eligibility for the program is based on income. Applications will be available at the pickup location or by calling 413 569-9876. In view of this it was decided to support the van and not pursue the brown bag program since the van provides more food.
 
All Board Meeting – Jan. 22, 6:30 Report on our work, budget expectations, Broad Plans for F/y 2018 – 2019etc. All available members are requested to attend. Discussion of Otis Meeting – It was agreed these worthwhile meetings should continue. Zoning changes will be needed in Tolland for Senior housing to be built.
Update Data Base The data base was updated.
